Is suspicion the new boredom?

I have lost count of how many fights have I triggered out of plain boredom.

I have also lost count of all the times iv had to chew my nails in suppressed reactive agitation, this happens when im on the receiving end of a line of questions , all of whose answers are readily available. The questions arise from a consciously unoccupied brain. Not to be mistaken with idle mind. There is no such thing as an idle mind! The mind isn't programmed to remain on idle mode. Its always on standby, waiting for the next line of fancy .

But when the mind isnt assigned any specific job to do, it runs on auto pilot. And hits the plateau called boredom!

How does the human mind respond to boredom? Is there a fixed norm as to how a person should respond to boredom? What is boredom in the first place?

Boredom is a state of mind when, all that which needs to be done is left pending, and all that work in hand doesn’t seem alluring enough to engage.

The limbo state as I call it.

And response to boredom depends a lot on the persons desire and ability for growth. Anything that grows is organic. If the seed of creativity is planed , the fruits born would be that of different flavors and variety. if on the other hand a person lacks the passion for right crop plantation on rotation mode then he gets lost in the web of boredom his mind weaves as a defence mechanism.

One cant get a clear picture as to what one wants to do at that moment to feel that adrenaline rush, most of us don’t even know when we need it!! Somewhere along the line we have lost the que to check ourselves from time to time. There is a bizarre state of aloofness. No action no reaction.

Since I love to get into everything layer by layer.

The outermost layer or boredom.= sarcasm, agitation, irritation, cranky. Interfering and often suggestive external demeanor.

Go deeper and you ll find the cause for most of these "reactive" emotions to be plain simple boredom.

When the mind cant make itself up , to decide what it should occupy itself with. Rather when everything seems jaded.

The idea is to connect to oneself when bored. There has to be a constant re alignment performed mentally, to bring the body , mind and soul together. Whatever is the output is your instinct :P . Aka ur intuition.

Some other day about intuition :P

Cheers!

  1. Interesting essay. I guess I can count you as an authority of wallowing in your thoughts while sitting and not moving. Well written, good word use, and very "clean".

Bubble of Life

Feminine energy is commonly associated with softness, tenderness, lightness, maybe even an aerated state, it’s full of movement (Shakti), has its own current (vibe), it flows, has its own rhythm (influence). It’s a soft rhythmic beat, tender like a heartbeat. Soft but powerful. Tiny but potent.   Think of emotions as a flowing river (Blood). Imagine the countless bubbles to be countless memories that fill the water with air (DNA memory Imprints). Each memory bubble just waiting to burst, (to be looked into), only to merge with the rest of the flow, through the currents, giving up its individual resistance, in order to flow. Here on, it just has to be. It’s definitive in its own unique sense of identity, as a part of a whole. Alone and together. Yin and yang, north and south, it merges but does not lose or diminish in its power. It has access to the strength of the whole. It’s in a state of oneness. The merging results in you, being the state of oneness, to experience...

Poked

We spend a huge portion of our lives, in perfecting a system, in hope of it helping us maximize the returns from our Earth bound experience. We create routines and a sense of paper perfect, in hope of experiencing all the good stuff, life can possibly offer. We want to do more, think more, travel more, to "feel" alive. I think we have enough feelings even without the stimuli. This body, we lovingly abuse.  Taking for granted its every function and use. Not thinking for a second about what’s holding it all together. Our “will power” is tested daily as the number of man-made beautiful objects increase their visibility, through mass advertising on social media. Our "attention" is all over the place with no realistic believable future to pin hopes on. The mind doesn't remain focused long enough to gather enough energy to finish crafting a dream worth living. Have we lost our ability to connect, to be within and happy with oneself?  Is friend...
