Bathroom promotes vanity!!!

An apple fell off a tree and a young man lay witness to its fall, due to the mysterious of “realisations”, gravity was discovered. One such realisation took place today in the shower. While i was scrubbing myself religiously with essential oil soaps handmade by khadi!!

It occurred to me that a bathroom is more than a place to show up first thing in the morning to ease bowel movement and splash some water and brush brush brush...

It has a dark evil twin . it resembles a dungeon.

Think about it,!!!! Isnt it the privacy of the bathroom that we take our clothes/pretences off !! and take a deep look at ourselves??!!!

Isnt it under that fading spotlight above the dirty sink and a tiny inconspicuous mirror do we actually look at our self! We hate our imperfections, we love our assets, we admire ourselves. We pose and preen. And the next second, scrutinise and dwell in loath . sometimes we over look flaws... Somewhere along the self assessment the action begins, the art of grooming mostly talks place in the private confines of a wash room. Meticulous waxing, shaving, epiilating, eyebrow tweezing painful upper lips. Difficult tangled hair. Bikini waxes, scrubbing with strange concoctions for which huge bills were freely dispensed. All in the promise of flawless sking bouncy hair and perfect teeth.

If thats not vanity, i don’t know what else is.

The uni-world- cell - aka The cell is the self imposed vanity inspired torture room, Its in the safe confines of these walls do children find shelter in their games of hide and seek. The adult are definetly not left behind. They have their own versions of hide and seek! Some hide lovers and some........ secret habits.!

Its because of my attachment towards the cell that its been recently converted into my den!! I escape the noise of the world and try to value a little bit of me time. Savouring it comes slightly later :p. I regain perspective when i gaze into the mirror i have strategically placed in front of my pot at eye level J i cant escape myself! I get to much faster solutions when im chasing myself with a stick in hand!!

My den is called so coz its also been recently been upgraded to a advertisement for khadi products. With the amount of khadi products seen stacked in my bathroom anyone would be right in mistaking it so. It doubles as a SPA!! And it correlates to my new personality as a model. Another role undertaken for the timebeing :P

That brings me to a very main function of the pot! The actual offload.!!! Sometimes if we are conscious, there is a real sense of relief . ! if we take a mental Polaroid of that emotion and replay it on cue such as a lover being unreasonable....life would be so much simpler .... wishful thinking sigh.....

So much for now!!

Bubble of Life

Feminine energy is commonly associated with softness, tenderness, lightness, maybe even an aerated state, it’s full of movement (Shakti), has its own current (vibe), it flows, has its own rhythm (influence). It’s a soft rhythmic beat, tender like a heartbeat. Soft but powerful. Tiny but potent.   Think of emotions as a flowing river (Blood). Imagine the countless bubbles to be countless memories that fill the water with air (DNA memory Imprints). Each memory bubble just waiting to burst, (to be looked into), only to merge with the rest of the flow, through the currents, giving up its individual resistance, in order to flow. Here on, it just has to be. It’s definitive in its own unique sense of identity, as a part of a whole. Alone and together. Yin and yang, north and south, it merges but does not lose or diminish in its power. It has access to the strength of the whole. It’s in a state of oneness. The merging results in you, being the state of oneness, to experience...

Poked

We spend a huge portion of our lives, in perfecting a system, in hope of it helping us maximize the returns from our Earth bound experience. We create routines and a sense of paper perfect, in hope of experiencing all the good stuff, life can possibly offer. We want to do more, think more, travel more, to "feel" alive. I think we have enough feelings even without the stimuli. This body, we lovingly abuse.  Taking for granted its every function and use. Not thinking for a second about what’s holding it all together. Our “will power” is tested daily as the number of man-made beautiful objects increase their visibility, through mass advertising on social media. Our "attention" is all over the place with no realistic believable future to pin hopes on. The mind doesn't remain focused long enough to gather enough energy to finish crafting a dream worth living. Have we lost our ability to connect, to be within and happy with oneself?  Is friend...
