Sure, if he
could enter my brain and ask the talking tom to stop talking and walking all
over the place, I could perhaps get a moment to explain the contents of my “process”
via speech in order to take him up on his offer to help.
There are times,
I get the opportunity of mildly composing my thoughts before I give words to them.
It leads to a session wherein I start to reveal all that I see and feel, and I see
him spacing out, few minutes into the monologue. 😊
I understand,
since they are not his memories, he cannot toggle between the snippets I provide,
leave alone make sense of it.
I am all for
encouraging curiosity. Its wonderful to be curious, but to expect sealed answer/results
to satisfy the curiosity, enforces a need for urgent decision making in the next
person.
This sounds a
little bit like applying pressure for reasons unknown. A bit like the person
trying to help, is in a hurry to finish his “good task of the day” and go back
into whatever world they were dwelling in before the interlude.
I believe,
secrets aren’t really secrets, they are mostly personal and confidential data,
meant to be shared with the chosen few or many, depending on the nature, validity
of context, value and relevance, mutually placed on the content of the secret.
Any piece of
information regarding self can be considered a secret based on the level of
openness or narrow, closed thinking, a person allows themselves to feel and follow.
I share for
various reasons, and “choose to hide” for perhaps more.
They are my
reasons. They need to make sense to me. They can be questioned, but there are
no guarantees to getting an answer unless I see a point in including the next
one in the active memory thread by applying means such as asking them about
their views or experiences, to gain exposure to ways of dealing with a
particular situation.
Asking for ways
is no guarantee for taking the call to follow the given advice.
I prefer to spend
time collecting data instead of collecting validations, I think it is ridiculous
to question ones own instinct, and deprive oneself of a possible wonderful
experience of decision making, choosing instead to go with another’s ones
advice based on their limited access to your memories and data.
One must filter
the advice received by understanding the nature of the source of this sound
piece of epiphany.
Sometimes it is
with a genuine feeling of nurturing offering us seeds of growth. The advice may
sound outdated, but the emotion is very well valid.
Sometimes the advisor
is unsure of their own intent. Could it be possible that they are lacing their
perception with bias stemming from their personal history? Unless their inner
conflict is resolved and dealt with by themselves, their source is vibrating
with not so conducive energy.
For you or
themselves.
Such advice
comes from a place of confusion, blindly following these will land you neck
deep in gray confused arenas that are not yours to begin with.
I value
privacy, I encourage my son to “hold a thought” process to derive a result from
it, then perhaps, share the concluded thought as action.
It could be through
an art project or a display of theatrics.
The means of
expressing vary with age, time and influence.
Composing one’s
thought is an essential and private process. Thinking can evolve around chaos
in noise, but not chaos in vibrations. Noise can be physically filtered, but
vibrations are soaked deep within.
Having a
trusting environment is the basis of clear thinking. The space that adults
provide by non-interfering supervision helps a child grow into themselves and
love themselves.
Children and
adults should be encouraged to hold secrets, it can make one feel empowered.
Thinking is a
step by step process. A person can learn to “think” in a way that works for
them.
Thinking for
self, is the basis of self-love. How can you be trusted to think for someone
else if you cannot cultivate a system of thinking, that works for you?
I value and
encourage this trait, since it promotes “thought processes” that are not set in
stone.
“It” being an
active flow of electricity flowing through our human bodies. Our minds job is
to constantly filter the contents during its movements/transitions by feeling
these emotions, in silence, without reacting ,quietly leading the body vessel
to experience life through emotions, not getting stuck, attached and stagnant
to any one emotion, by identifying with these passing currents.
Once the cycle
is complete and the person has felt/experienced, accepted and is willing to
move on to another emotion/current, the mind is freed from the emotional turbulence
that is caused by stagnant/pending thoughts.
Its energizing,
powerful, insightful, and stunning in terms of growth in perception. It leads
to the joyful willingness to adapt to life, by choice.
Its alright to seek
for advice when you feel stuck in your thought journey. Seeking advice is not the
same as seeking validation.
Often our
energies and realities merge into one another’s, upon everyday contact. We forget
why we set out to do, what we started.
The purpose
gets diluted each time the content is poured onto another’s ones probably full
brain bowl, for processing.
The result will
be colluded with their imprints to say the least. Their past experiences would
lead them to believe the world is a certain way, which may differ from your
point of view. Does not make either one right or wrong. Makes two people, true
to their own journeys.
It is important
to know the source of the journey, is it yours or someone else’s, own or a product of inception?
We may find ourselves living extended lives of others, with the help of a tiny
seed of thought, incepted in our minds, long ago.
Cultural
conditioning?
We are not in practice
of maintaining a clean Slate. We do not clean our minds. We do not relax it
long enough for it to clean itself. We attach ourselves to certain emotions,
for the fear of letting them go and never being able to experience them ever
again. Then we find ourselves with a dirty mind, fiercely equipped with dark humor
and sarcasm as the preferred way of “dealing with life”.
That’s still,
far from living the life.
Will life
appear any better than the quality of lens we use?
They say it is
crowded at the base, and lonely on the top.
The journey
from base to top is where the clutter gets cleared and priorities are made
visible. Each person must attempt to start at the base ,despite privileges.
Base here,
means survival as per Maslow’s Pyramid. For survival there are a whole lot of
physiological needs that need addressing. The needs evolve as one caters to them,
one by one, starting right at base. The awareness does not cut itself off from
the base, during growth phase, instead it “includes” and chooses to be more accepting and
inclusive.
Thus, creating open pathways for secrets to safely walk upon. Feeling Safe and secure in your skin is literally the best feeling ever .
Stay safe peeps :)
